Principle

hülf.me does not store any personal data. No cookies are set, no tracking tools are used, and no data is shared with third parties. Your use of this platform is completely anonymous.

What happens when you fill out the questionnaire?

The answers you provide in the questionnaire are processed exclusively in your browser to show you suitable help offers. Your answers are not transmitted to our server and are not stored. Once you close the page, all information is gone.

Even though some questions touch on sensitive topics (e.g. mental health, experiences of violence, or addiction), this information is never stored, logged, or shared with third parties.

Server logs

When you visit our website, technical access data is automatically collected by our hosting provider (Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). This includes: IP address (truncated or deleted shortly after), date and time of access, page visited (URL), browser type and operating system, and referrer URL.

This data is processed by Vercel to ensure the technical operation and to prevent misuse. We do not associate this data with individual persons. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing and securing the website).

Vercel processes this data in the USA. The transfer is based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies and tracking

hülf.me does not set any cookies — neither our own nor third-party cookies. No analytics, marketing, or tracking cookies are used.

No analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Matomo, or similar) are used. Your browsing behavior is not recorded, analyzed, or shared with third parties.

External content and services

The website does not load any external resources such as Google Fonts, social media plugins, or embedded videos. All content is served directly from our server.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), objection (Art. 21), and data portability (Art. 20).

Since we do not store any personal data, these rights do not apply in practice. If you still have questions or concerns, please contact us at kontakt@huelf.me.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, Austria. Email: dsb@dsb.gv.at — Website: www.dsb.gv.at

Note on sensitive data

The questionnaire on hülf.me touches on topics that may qualify as special categories of personal data under Art. 9 GDPR (e.g. health, sexual orientation). Since the evaluation takes place entirely in the browser and no data is transmitted to our server, no processing of sensitive data within the meaning of the GDPR takes place.
